Women Sharing Hope is a volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to the betterment of Whatcom County, Washington.

At a time when many worthwhile charities are struggling to operate with diminished funds and increased demands, Women Sharing Hope is a much-needed local volunteer organization that has stepped up to fill the need.

Women Sharing Hope hosts two fund-raising events each year, benefiting two local charities nominated and chosen by its members. In addition, Women Sharing Hope uses its "Community Fund," funded by member dues and a small portion of event proceeds, to fund individual requests for help.

Women Sharing Hope is operated entirely by volunteers, therefore 100% of net event proceeds are donated directly to local women and children. Women Sharing Hope events are managed and operated by members, effectively keeping expenses down, so that a significant percent of event proceeds are donated to local women and children.

Our next member meeting has been changed to Thursday, May 15th. Please RSVP to Cari Atwell at atwell23@comcast.net by 5PM Monday May 12th if you are attending and if you're eating lunch or not. The cost is $12.00 and checks can be made payable to BGCC or club members can charge to their account. *If you RSVP that you will be at the meeting, and are not able to come at the last minute, kindly send a check in the amount of $12.00 to cover our costs.

On Saturday, March 29th, Women Sharing Hope hosted Women Sharing Hope’s Handbags, our ninth annual handbag auction and champagne luncheon at the Hotel Bellwether in Bellingham. Proceeds were divided between Agape Home and The Whatcom Dream.
